Before Christina stepped behind the camera as a filmmaker, she worked in a variety of positions, including assistant to producer Scott Rudin and assistant editor on American Idol Season 4. Armed with knowledge learned on the job, Christina then set out to make her own films. She wrote and directed the short film, Making Your Tea, marking her directorial debut. Making Your Tea world premiered at the 2006 Palm Beach International Film Festival. Christina then followed this with several more short films enabling her to hone her skills as a filmmaker, while also giving her a taste of the festival circuit. Having finished its festival run, Christina’s latest short film, Your Move, can be seen on Gaia TV and is now available at Amazon. Her latest film, a short documentary, will be hitting the festival circuit in 2018. Her screenwriting work has placed in screenwriting contests around the world.
Currently, Christina works as a freelance writer while she seeks financing for her co-written feature script, Driving Your Mind, a story about a young working woman, who after her criminal brother shows up at her door with his five-year old son, is faced with choices that lead her down a path she never thought she’d take. She is also currently adapting her screenplay into narrative fiction and writes the blog “Life as I know it” on WordPress.
