Kristen Riley began her career managing retirement plan benefits before transitioning into human resources nearly 15 years ago. She has worked with for-profit and non-profit organizations, small organizations to large manufacturing companies, and everything in between. She has been a manager within a 20+ person human resources department and is currently an “HR Department of One.” Since January 2013, Kristen has been the Human Resources Manager at an independent school in Bellevue, Washington. For the past five years, she has enjoyed developing the HR Manager position into a strategic role, working with school leadership to attract and retain an exceptional group of faculty and staff.
Kristen has earned her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
