What is the advantage of a laser printer for my business?
Laser printers have many advantages, especially in a larger office. They can print a large volume of text-only documents quickly, with high quality.
Should I pick color laser printer or a black & white laser printer?
Whether you should go with a black & white or color laser printer depends on what kind of documents your office prints most. A black & white laser printer will print clean, crisp lines, but won’t be much help with charts or graphs. And while a color laser printer won’t give you the same image sharpness as an inkjet printer, it will work well enough for the occasional chart or graph.
Do laser printers need refills and where can I get them?
Laser printers do need toner refills over time, but not as frequently as inkjet printers need ink refills. You can find refill toner for laser printers at Quill.
Do I need special paper for laser printers?
You can use laser paper or multipurpose copy paper in a laser printer. Laser paper is made to hold up better to the high heat of a laser printer and will provide higher printing quality. However, the type of paper you definitely don’t want to use in a laser printer is inkjet paper – doing so can damage your printer.
