DUCK BRAND duct tape works the best for me at karaoke shows where the potential is great for cabling in high foot-traffic areas. When laying cables and speaker wires in those environments, I mix the standard gray with a psychedelic color (pink, orange, green) to minimize the risk of anyone, especially drunken idiots, tripping. Whereas it provides a peripheral visibility for the otherwise unwary, it is pricier, but I suppose that's better than a liability lawsuit from some accusatory low-life who stumbles their life away...

CODEPINK LI used it to tape clotheslines to barricades. The clotheslines displayed 5,000 pink ribbons, each inscribed with the name and age of a soldier that had died in Iraq & Afghanistan at the Air show at Jones Beach. The pink tape was easy to spot when removing the clotheslines.
