There’s nothing quite like the fall. The sweaters come out of storage, the leaves change, and the temperature gets cooler. Of course, one of the best aspects of the fall is the food!
Whether you’re throwing an office party to celebrate Oktoberfest, Halloween, or simply Friday, you’ll be guaranteed a delicious time with these mouth-watering fall recipes.
Baked cinnamon apple chips
A quick sweet apple snack that’s easy to make and sure to wake you up.
Ingredients:
- 3 apples
- ground cinnamon
- granulated sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 200° F. While waiting for the oven, line 2 large baking sheets with foil and set aside. Wash the apples and cut into thinly sliced pieces. Spread the apple slices on the baking sheets, then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake apple slices for 1 hour, then flip the slices over and bake for another 1 hour. Turn off the oven but keep the apple slices inside the oven for another hour as it cools down.
Crock pot pumpkin spice latte
Rich and flavorful coffee with pumpkin, vanilla, and cinnamon to fill you up and keep the energy high.
Ingredients:
- 6 cups whole milk
- 6 cups of strongly brewed coffee
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup vanilla
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Directions:
Combine milk and coffee in a crockpot, and set aside.
Mix the pumpkin, vanilla, sugar, and cinnamon together, then pour into the crockpot. After stirring together, add the cinnamon sticks.
Cook the covered crockpot on high for 2 hours. Serve and enjoy!
Pomegranate & dark chocolate chips
A sweet and savory flavored chocolate dessert to make everyone extra happy.
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups pomegranate seeds
- 5 ounces dark chocolate
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
Directions:
Sprinkle a layer of pomegranate seeds across 12 muffin cups. Melt the dark chocolate, then add to a piping bag or plastic bag. Snip the bag’s end.
Spread the melted chocolate across the pomegranate seeds in a crisscross pattern. Add another layer of pomegranate seeds, then chocolate, then pomegranate seeds. Add a last layer of sea salt.
Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
Pumpkin spice vodka soda
Holiday spirited vodka drink to spice your party up.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3 tablespoon pumpkin puree
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 oz vodka
- 2 cup sparkling water
Directions:
Boil the water, sugar, pumpkin puree, and spice in a saucepan.
Reduce heat and simmer, while still mixing.
Cool the syrup-like mixture, and then add vodka, sparkling water, and the pumpkin spice syrup to taste. Enjoy!
