I purchased this chair to replace a chair bought some years ago at Quill. The old chair had a lumbar pump that didn't really add anything, so I thought I could save some money on a similar chair without the pump. This chair almost, but not quite, fills the bill.

The color is good, but the fabric is rather cheap looking. The fabric is sturdy though. Likewise, the chair is reasonably comfortable, but could certainly use more padding on the seat. I don't think it will last very long.

The real drawback, though, is that the arms are too short. They are only about half as long as they should be, and when seated normally, if you try to rest your arm on the chair arm, it only comes to about your elbow. I bought an armed chair rather than an armless one because I wanted the arms. For one thing, I use an extended mouse platform that attaches to the chair arm, and this chair doesn't give enough arm to attach it normally. I have had to resort to a complicated and unsightly workaround with electrical tape.

I wish I had spent a little more money and paid more attention to the length of the arms. It simply never occurred to me that they would be so short as to be useless. I can't afford to replace the chair right now, but as soon as I have the money I will get another chair, and I'll be sure it has arms that are long enough to support human arms.
