200 million LaserJet printers — and counting!

In 1984, HP answered the individual needs of business users with the introduction of the HP LaserJet, the world’s first desktop laser printer. We have continued advancing laser printing technology with devices that have wowed customers — from color printing to combining general office functions like printing, scanning, faxing and copying into one multifunction device.
We shipped our 100 millionth LaserJet unit in 2006. In the years since that milestone, we have further redefined the way businesses print and digitize content through the introduction of mobile printing, web-connected printing and cloud-enabled MFPs. As we look to the future, we will continue to expand our LaserJet portfolio of hardware, solutions and services to help customers simplify and secure and lower business costs.
