Manufacturers use proprietary formulations in developing their ink or toner. HP DeskJet 3752 ink is a combination of pigment-based black ink and dye-based tricolor CMY ink that provides bold, sharp text and vivid, bright graphics and photos that are durable and fade-resistant. Ink output can yield copy resolutions of up to 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) in black and 4800 x 1200 dpi in color in the all-in-one’s max-dpi print mode, and the cartridges can work in conjunction with HP’s Real Life technology either to sharpen or soften images and graphics. The ink cartridges can also handle the fast print speeds of the all-in-one, at up to 19 pages a minute (ppm) in draft black mode and 15 ppm in draft color mode.
A wide array of printer paper is available for many forms of printed output. HP 65 standard and high-yield black and tricolor cartridges can print on many types of plain paper, from 4 x 8 inches up to legal size, as well as U.S. executive, government, and statement paper. The HP 65 printer ink is ideal for high-end media output, including premium presentation and brochure paper, and all types of premium photo paper in either matte or glossy finishes. The cartridges can print on envelopes, labels, and cardstock, including greeting cards.
Many HP printer cartridges come in two versions: standard and high-capacity XL that normally print out twice the standard amount. The cartridges that go with the HP 3752 all-in-one provide the following per-cartridge output:
Each of these cartridges is also compatible with other DeskJet printers in the 3000 series as well with HP printers in its ENVY™ printer line.
