Description
With data integrity more critical than ever, simply discarding or degaussing a used hard drive may not guarantee its security. The Formax OnSite HDD/SSD Shredder ensures ultimate protection by physically destroying 2.5” and 3.5” hard drives. For added security and accountability, it features a recording system with internal and external cameras to monitor and document the destruction process. A 64GB SD card stores barcode images and video recordings, offering approximately 1GB per hour of recording. The stored data can be easily removed and downloaded as needed. This HDD/SSD hard drive shredder provides the desired level of security by physically destroying discarded hard drives.
- Designed for uninterrupted use, allowing hard drives to be loaded continuously, one at a time
- Power requirements: Three-phase, 220V, 50/60 Hz, Dimensions: 51"H x 24"W x 34"D
- Rugged, solid steel blades grind the hard drive into random-size pieces: 1.6" wide and smaller for 3.5" HDD hard drives, and 0.19" wide and smaller for 2.5" HDD and SSD drives
- Shredded pieces are collected in a molded plastic waste bin for easy disposal or recycling
- LED control panel displays operational status and offers jam protection with auto reverse and auto stop; sensors stop the motor automatically if any of the doors are open or the waste bin is full
- Each shredding chamber features a metal safety shield, and its own resettable LED counter to keep an accurate tally of shredded drives
- Cutting blades are made of hardened steel for strength and durability
- Powerful metal geared motor is housed in an all-metal cabinet with casters for mobility and is designed for low operational noise
