Illuminated buttons include a bagel button designed for perfectly toasted bagels, defrost button for toasting frozen or cold bread and a cancel button that automatically stops toasting and lifts the slotted bread. Two separate traditional push-down tabs turn each set of toaster slots on and off for heating either 2 or 4 slices of toast at the same time.
