Want to know more about Coated Gloves, Dipped Gloves

Dipped Gloves Provide for Safe Handling

Choose coated gloves as a safe option for materials handling and warehouse picking and packing. The product also protects hands and fingers when grasping glass and performing assembly and fabrication tasks. Dipped gloves guard workers' hands against cuts and abrasions, as they resist punctures and tears. Wear the hand protection when coming into contact with acid and other chemicals.

Choose dipped gloves in comfortable fabrics

Select a pair of dipped gloves in a cotton/polyester blend knit or in nylon knit for breathable, flexible hand protection. Try leather gloves made of split cowhide for heavier work. Some styles feature backsides with three layers of stretch spandex for form-fitting flexibility. Gloves are available in sizes 6 to 11, providing a range of options for all users, allowing them to pick a pair that fits most comfortably while providing the best control of materials.

Dipped gloves take care of hands

Most styles include elasticized wrist cuffs, which keep dirt and debris from falling into the gloves, guarding hands against scratches or cuts. Some also feature neoprene knuckle pads for extra protection, as well as wrapped index fingers to enhance control of the gripped materials. Those designs with polyurethane coating also provide more tactile sensitivity, so you can better judge your grip. Silicone and latex-free styles are dermatologically safe, so users don't need to worry about allergic reactions to the dipped gloves.

Other benefits of dipped gloves

Many of these work gloves have ergonomically shaped fingers. Some styles even add terry cloth thumbs for wiping brows when working in hot conditions. Gloves with PVC dots on the palms and fingers provide even more breathable without losing that grip and protection. Some models offer impact reduction, making them also appropriate for oil and gas drilling and heavy construction and mining tasks. Different styles may be available in industry-specific colors, as well, targeting more particular needs and uses.

Pick a coating to match the task

Dipped glovesare available with a wide selection of coatings designed to provide the best grip for different tasks. Choose a product with one of these coatings:

  • Silicone -- strong grip on dry surfaces
  • Nitrile -- does not absorb chemicals, acids, or oils and allergy-safe
  • Latex -- superior grip on both wet and dry surfaces
  • PVC -- enhanced grip
  • Kevlar® -- won't melt, ignite, or conduct electricity
