Description
This is a combination filter that is made of several layers of filtering technology. Includes a charcoal filter to help decompose odors from smoking, cooking and pets. True HEPA + Pet Pure Treatment. True HEPA captures 99.97% of allergens including pet dander, dust mites and pollen. The Pet Pure is an antimicrobial agent added to the filter to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria on the surface of the filter. The Pre-Filter captures large dust particles like lint and pet hair.
- HEPA Replacement filter for GermGuardian model series: AC5000, AC5200, AC5300, AC5350 and Black+Decker model BXAP250
- True HEPA captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles including dust mites, pet dander, mold spores, plant pollens and debris
- Filter has been treated with an anti-microbial agent to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and odor-causing bacteria on the surface of the filter
- Charcoal Filter (aka Activated Carbon): Charcoal/Activated Carbon contributes to the control and prevention of the growth of bacteria, germs and mold
- Pre-Filter: Captures large dust particles such as lint and pet hair
- Filter should be replaced approximately every 6-8 months depending on use
- Manufacturer recommends replacing filter every 6 months
