The Global Industrial pleated air filter is a perfect fit to remove airborne irritants in the HVAC units in commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings. Perfect for office and retail, industrial filtration, single- and multifamily housing, government and education facilities, and healthcare environments (from doctor offices and assisted living facilities to hospitals). An additional antimicrobial agent is applied to the media to prevent mold growth on the filter surface. This filter utilizes 100% synthetic media, achieving a MERV 11 value. The pleated filter accumulates heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats, leaving the sides open longer for effective filtration. A low resistance improves the airflow, which can greatly reduce energy costs. This filter can be a valuable tool in achieving points for USGBC-LEED certification projects.
