The NETGEAR AGM734-10000S is a Gigabit Ethernet copper SFP (Mini-GBIC) transceiver module designed to add reliable 1000BASE-T RJ-45 connectivity to NETGEAR ProSAFE and Business managed switches equipped with SFP slots. It allows network administrators to use standard Cat5e or Cat6 copper cabling for Gigabit Ethernet connections over distances of up to 100 meters, eliminating the need for fiber or external media converters. The module is hot-swappable, enabling installation or replacement without powering down the switch, and features a robust metal enclosure for durability and EMI protection in enterprise environments. Ideal for data centers, campus networks, and edge deployments, the AGM734-10000S provides a simple, cost-effective way to extend Gigabit Ethernet copper connectivity while maintaining the flexibility of SFP-based network infrastructure.
