Each brush has a short handle that is finished with sophisticated black lacquer. Artists prefer to use the 3008S square wash brush for backgrounds, leaves, and landscapes. Sizes 1/4" to 1" have beveled, acrylic handles for scraping, while sizes 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" have wooden handles. Silver Brush Black Velvet brushes are best paired with watercolor.
