Description
The Uncaged Ergonomics Office Pod helps facilities, workplace and procurement teams add private call, focus, interview and meeting space inside existing commercial environments. It gives employees and visitors a professional place for conversations that should not happen in the open, while reducing dependence on oversized conference rooms for one-person work. Four sizes support different operating needs. Small is a compact one-person office phone booth with a fixed wall-mounted table included. Working creates a roomier one-person workspace for longer solo sessions. Medium supports two-person interviews and private meetings. Large supports small-team collaboration with up to four people. Working, Medium and Large are supplied with empty interiors so furniture can be specified for the intended application. The enclosure uses a layered acoustic material system with an aluminum-alloy frame, steel-faced walls, 60 mm acoustic insulation, 9 mm polyester-fiber acoustic board, tempered transparent glass and a carpeted steel-supported floor. The tested Small Pod achieved 31 dB weighted sound pressure insulation under ISO 11957:1996. The pod is designed to reduce speech transfer and surrounding distractions, not eliminate every sound. Presence detection activates ventilation and LED lighting during use and turns both off after 3 minutes of vacancy. Manual controls are included. Small and Working provide approximately 54 CFM airflow, while Medium and Large provide approximately 108 CFM. Every pod provides 2 AC outlets, 1 USB-A port and 1 USB-C port for work devices. Individual components fit through a standard 36-inch doorway. Plan for two installers and approximately 2 to 6 hours of assembly, depending on model and installer experience. In-stock units typically ship within 24 hours by free curbside LTL freight with liftgate service. Optional local and national installation is available. The frame is backed by a 5-year warranty, and electrical components are backed by a 2-year warranty. For organizations that need more private capacity but do not want another construction project, the Office Pod provides a practical, scalable way to put the right room where the work happens.
