Black leather desk pads and other styles protect writing surfaces

Desk pads are among hundreds of office furnishings that include not only desks and chairs but also protective chair and floor mats. The purpose of desk pads is also to offer protection. While providing a flat, smooth writing surface, they’re essential for preventing damage to desktop surfaces, whether from ink stains, writing imprints, or scratches. Although black leather desk pads are the most elegant of these functional pads, other proprietary options include Rhinolin leatherette, a self-repairing material in which lines from writing pressure fade away, maintaining surface smoothness. In addition, many pad surfaces are antireflective, eliminating glare, and some have an antimicrobial, anti-odor coating that lasts for years.
