The convenience of HP mobile printers

Mobile HP wireless printers, including dedicated mobile photo printers, work directly with your laptop, smartphone, or tablet using either Bluetooth® Smart and Low Energy technologies or Wi-Fi Direct® protocols. In addition to these NFC routerless connectivity modes, you can also print documents using USB travel drives or access-point routers, including documents stored in your social media or on iCloud, Google Drive™, or Dropbox™.

HP portable photo printers are compatible with several mobile printing apps, including HP ePrint apps for iOS® and Windows®, as well as Apple® AirPrint® and Mopria™ for Android. The printers have connectivity ranges of up to 50 feet, and many offer SD card slots for stored digital photos. As with many brands of printers, mobile models from HP have touchscreen menus, and several offer scanning and reproduction functionality besides printing.

Versatile or dedicated HP portable photo printers

Some of HP's portable printers offer photo-capable printing in addition to standard inkjet document and letter printing, while others are for professional photo-quality printing. All of the printers offer crisp, sharp resolution, ranging up to 1200 x 1200 dpi in black and white and 4800 x 1200 dpi in color, even with generic ink cartridges. Non-photo compatible printers, like the HP 200 mobile printer series, can provide output on a range of media, including letter, legal, statement, and executive stock and envelopes, while photo-compatible and photo-dedicated printers work with HP photo paper, HP matte and glossy brochure or professional paper, and other types of inkjet plain and photo paper.

Security connectivity

When you send print commands via NFC protocols, the embedded web server in HP portable printers recognizes only the password that you set up to activate printing. HP's 128-bit encryption also ensures secure access as you send the files from your app to the printer.

All the mobile printers from HP give you industry-leading page yields when you use original HP printer cartridges, including print speeds of 15 pages a minute in black and white and 10 ppm in color. Many HP portable printers also offer various other features:
