The durable protection of a legal paper binder
Legal binders perform the important function of preserving and protecting important documents. A legal paper binder usually features durable covers made with rigid plastic, which is sometimes reinforced with steel corners for added longevity. Inside a ring binder are lever-arches with rings that open and close easily. This also also allows for smooth page turning and the insertion and removal of sheets without tearing. A faux leather legal binder has an elegant look for shelf display. This creates a pleasing visual effect, especially in the office of a physician or attorney.
Types of legal-size documents
There are a variety of documents typically printed on legal size paper that require a legal binder:

- Financial ledgers
Some 3-inch legal binders hold documents printed on legal size paper but in a horizontal, landscape format. For longer documents, there are binders with larger capacities or even packs of binders for holding large numbers of related documents such as court depositions.
