In addition to using the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, this flexible tri-band 802.11ax router takes advantage of the less congested 6 GHz band to deliver up to 7.8 Gb/s of total throughput with compatible devices. It also works with previous Wi-Fi standards to deliver smooth video streaming and online gaming experiences. Connect wired network devices such as computers, video game consoles, and smart TVs to the four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports, two of which may be combined using link aggregation for 2G speeds with compatible devices. A fifth Gigabit Ethernet port is also available alongside a 2.5G port, either of which may be connected to your broadband modem as a WAN port or connected to high-speed LAN devices such as computers, switches, and storage drives. Use the integrated USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port to connect external drives and share videos, music, and other files across the network. The Nighthawk RAXE300 works with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant to quickly configure your network using voice commands. Also, with VPN support, you can securely access your home network and internet connection using your mobile device from almost anywhere in the world.
