A high-resolution, speedy all-in-one printer with photo-quality output
Depending on the printer paper you use with the OfficeJet 4620, you can produce lab-quality photos or presentation-ready reports and documents on par with any business. OfficeJet 4620 ink consists of an advanced formula that incorporates pigment-based black for layered, archival-quality text and charts and dye-based cyan, magenta, and yellow (CMY) for color-saturated, vibrant photos, brochures, and graphics.
All HP printer cartridges work in tandem with their companion printers to support printer specifications. The HP 564 ink cartridges respond to OfficeJet 4620 print commands for dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution output, up to 600 x 600 dpi text and character output in black ink and 4800 x 1200 dpi in separate CMY colors, ideal for photos and brochures. The cartridges can also accommodate print speeds of 22 pages a minute in draft mode.
These HP ink cartridges are compatible with PhotoSmart printers
Most of the cartridges for the 4620 carry PhotoSmart ink, which is the formula that HP uses for its photo-dedicated printers, including models in the Premium Fax, eStation, TouchSmart®, and PhotoSmart Plus lines. For photos, the HP 564 black ink and CMY ink cartridges produce several size photos. They also can print out labels and envelopes.
High yields from the HP 564 ink cartridges
Each ink and toner cartridge that’s available on HP and other manufacturer finder pages on Quill comes in different page-yield models, starting with original, standard-yield versions. The thermal inkjet cartridges for the HP model 4620 provide three separate page yields, with the addition of high-capacity, XL, versions and economy cartridges, for occasional print users:
- HP 564 original and XL black cartridges yield 250 and 550 pages per cartridge, respectively
- HP 564 color ink in CMY original and XL cartridges yield 300 and 750 pages per cartridge, respectively
- HP 564 economy black cartridges yield 235 pages per cartridge
- HP 564XL economy color ink CMY cartridges yield 285 pages per cartridge
