Quick Readings
Adhere one of the FeverScan disposable forehead thermometers, and leave it in place until the color stops changing, which takes about 15 seconds. Use the instant reading to determine whether you need to take further action, such as contacting the parents of a pediatric patient or obtaining a more detailed reading with a clinical thermometer. The thermometers measure a temperature between 94 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing you to gauge when a temperature is well outside the normal range. Simple Application
Each of the FeverScan disposable forehead thermometers includes a self-adhesive strip that you peel away easily prior to attaching the thermometer to a forehead. The stress-free application is especially handy when dealing with a cranky or squirming pediatric patient. Latex-free and Disposable
The strips are latex-free, a distinct advantage when you are unsure of whether a patient has a latex allergy. Using disposable strips prevents the spread of germs from one patient to another and eliminates the need to sterilize oral thermometers.
