Uni-ball Onyx rollerball pens are similar to ballpoint pens in that they use a tiny metal ball at the tip that rolls over the paper, releasing the ink inside the reservoir. The biggest difference between most rollerball pens and Onyx rollerball pens is Onyx uses liquid ink. Some benefits include:

The Onyx has two point styles to choose from that are both small. The uni-ball Onyx micro pen is the smallest, with a point tip of .5 mm. The fine point pen option is .7 mm.
