What Is Art Paper?
Art paper is paper that is specifically made for creative projects and crafts. Artists’ paper is available in many colors, textures and thicknesses to be able to withstand the demands of different artistic projects.
Instructors and professional artists can use this type of paper for creative tasks like painting, illustrating and more. While copy paper and notebooks are great for sketching and doodling, artists can cut rolls of art paper into larger sheets of paper in different shapes and sizes.
What Is Artists Paper Used For?
People use art paper for crafts and other creative tasks that require durable sheets of paper, like card stock, that they can also cut into larger shapes and sizes for backgrounds and other purposes. Since art paper sheets are thick, artists can use things like markers, paint and watercolor without worrying about it bleeding through and staining other surfaces.
