What Is a Business Envelope?
Business envelopes are the ideal envelope for sending confidential information through the mail. These envelopes for business have security-tinted patterns to discourage reading sensitive information through the outside of the envelope for extra discreteness between the mail sender and receiver. Business envelopes should be an essential part of any order of bulk office supplies to ensure your business is never low on necessary supplies. Be sure to stock up on copy paper and the proper ink and toner cartridges for your office printer to ensure all documents sent out are printed with bold ink.
What Types of Envelopes for Business Can You Buy?
There are a variety of business envelopes to choose from at Quill.
Catalog Business Envelopes
These business envelopes are larger than standard envelopes. They measure 6 inches by 9 inches and are made from heavyweight paper. They are a reliable choice for mailing multiple kinds of personal and business documents, because larger stacks of papers can fit inside these packets. Catalog envelopes come with a heavily gummed flap that provides a tight seal. Some also come with a durable aluminum double prong that easily re-opens and provides great usability for each envelope. These business envelopes also often contain post-consumer recycled material.
Self Sealing Business Envelopes
These envelopes provide extra security with their specially designed peel and seal closure seals that close securely without moistening to remove the need for using your tongue or the unprofessional appearance of taping the envelope seal. Self sealing envelopes are generally made from white 24-pound paper for durability and are suitable for many mailing projects. Each of these business envelopes comes in packages of 100 to 500 envelopes per box. The envelopes have a straight flap and are the perfect size for letters, invoices and bill payments.
Self sealing envelopes come in a variety of U.S.-numbered envelopes including:
- Number 6 envelopes, size 3 ? inches by 6 ½ inches
