Description
The Burnshield Digit emergency burn care foam dressing is soaked in a sterile trauma burn gel and is used specifically to individually wrap fingers and toes to prevent them from binding when burnt. This foam dressing is supplied in a foil pouch. Burnshield can be used for minor burns and scalds. With its high water content, the Burnshield hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat, which minimizes skin damage. The gel is clear, which makes it easy to assess the wound, nonstick, and will not adhere to the wound. The Burnshield hydrogel is a natural antibacterial which reduces infection. Nontoxic, nonirritant, and safe to use on children.
