How Magic Markers work
Bic Magic Markers feature a polymer that keeps the color ink slippery so it won’t absorb into the writing surfaces. These pens contain isopropyl alcohol, which dries quickly before the ink can stain surfaces. Bic dry-erase pens are the opposite of Sharpie markers, which many consider to also be “magic markers.” Both write on many surfaces but use Bic markers when needing clear writing that’s easy to wipe away with a cloth or whiteboard eraser.
Bic Magic Marker tip types
Bic dry-erase markers come in two tip sizes. The chisel tip is thick with a sharper point on one end. This tip allows users to draw thick or thin lines with a single pen. The bullet tip is smaller and has a slightly rounded end. This allows for bold lines, but is also small enough for thinner writing styles.
Magic ink marker features
Magic Markers have a variety of features that make writing easier. Tank-style barrels hold a lot of ink for long use and fit nicely in hands for increased comfort. Viewing strips alert users when ink is running out and it’s time for replacement markers. The ends of the markers are smaller and fit the caps tightly so they won’t get lost during use. These pens also contain low-odor, ACMI-certified ink proven to be nontoxic for safe use by anyone.
