Original OfficeJet Pro 7740 ink cartridges offer reliable and trouble-free printer operation. Independent tests performed by the Buyers Laboratory show that HP printer cartridges demonstrate consistent reliability with none failing during testing; on average, 37 percent of third-party refilled and remanufactured cartridges fail prematurely. Avoid messy leaks, blocked nozzles, and wasted pages by insisting on genuine HP ink cartridges.
Increased page yield with OfficeJet Pro 7740 ink
Standard HP 952 ink cartridges are ideal for low to medium-volume printing. An HP 952 black ink cartridge prints approximately 1,000 pages at printer default settings while HP 952 color cartridges produce up to 700 standard pages. HP measures printer yield using the ISO/IEC 24711 page yield guidelines, which give a good representation of results expected when outputting a normal range of documents on inkjet printers. Extra large (XL) printing cartridges are available for offices with higher print volume requirements. The 952XL black cartridges produce approximately 2,000 pages while compatible 956XL cartridges manage up to 3,000 pages of black-and-white printing. The color printing yield of 952XL cartridges is approximately 1,600 pages.

For best color printing results, always choose the appropriate type of printer paper and enter this information into the machine’s dialog box before printing.
