Mexican pottery clay of 5 lbs. is a self-hardening red clay supplied in moist form ready to use.
Amaco® Mexican pottery clay in assorted color for grades PreK - 12 allows decorating with any kind of finish and comes in a moist form to use ready. Clay of 5 lbs capacity is non-toxic and kneads helps to increase plasticity before modeling.
- When completely dry, finished pieces are durable but not waterproof
- Knead Mexican Pottery Clay™ to increase plasticity before modeling
- Keep unused clay in a plastic bag or wrapped in damp cloth to prevent drying out
- Hollow out bulky sculptures or wrap a slab of clay around a loose paper armature before modeling
- Excellent clays to use when a kiln is not available
- Comes in a moist ready-to-use form; when completely dry, finished pieces are hard and durable
- Decorate with any kind of finish; non toxic, not waterproof
