HP LaserJet 3050 high-quality toner cartridge
All HP mono laser toner cartridges contain black powder particles that print by electrostatic transfer. The toner ink goes from a print drum onto paper after being heated by a fuser assembly. HP LaserJet 3050 toner contains finely formulated particles to enhance the sharpness and print quality of text and images. The toner supports print resolutions of 1200 dots per inch (dpi), and works with resolution enhancement technology (REt) to print up to 2400 dpi. The HP 12A toner cartridges for the model 3050 can also handle the all-in-one printer’s fast print speed of up to 19 pages a minute, and can print watermarks on pages, whether company logos or confidentiality warnings.
HP 12A cartridges can print on a variety of media
HP 12A toner can handle practically any standard printer paper except for inkjet photo paper or thermal paper. The toner formulation is ideal for printing on special media like transparencies, opaque film, and glossy report covers, and can handle custom media like index cards and postcards.
The availability of the cartridges
Most HP printer cartridges are available as HP-genuine versions, and as cartridges that are remanufactured, or enhanced with other features. The following are some HP 12 cartridges that are available:

- MICR Print Solutions™ original 12A black cartridges, with MICR high-adhesion toner to print security numbers and special characters on documents and checks
