Officejet Pro 8620 and its versatile ink cartridges
All HP printer cartridges work seamlessly with the memory array in their printers to perform specific printing functions. HP Officejet Pro 8620 ink cartridges with smart chips offer several unique capabilities. Not only do they let you monitor the ink level in the cartridges, but they can also switch to using only black ink when one or more color cartridges are out of ink, or only color ink when the black cartridge is dry. In addition, they can print in various dots per inch (dpi) resolution modes, including draft, normal, plain-best, and photo-best, and max-dpi mode for lab-quality photos and professional-quality graphics designs. The cartridges also support the printer’s fast print speeds of up to 21 pages a minute (ppm) in monochrome and 16.5 ppm in color, and they’re compatible with other Officejet Pro models in the 8000 series.
Exceptional print quality on a variety of media
Both the black and color HP 950 and 951 original cartridges, and the HP 950XL and HP 951XL ink cartridges, contain ink that consists of insoluble pigment particles. These particles keep their colorfastness, dry quickly on paper, and are smear- and fade-resistant. The 950 and 951 inks create bold, sharp text, and bright, dynamic color photos and archival quality graphics.
The pigment-based inks yield presentation-quality text and images, not only on premium and copy printer paper but also on all high-end glossy and matte photo and brochure paper. In addition, the ink also prints text and images on decorative iron-on transfers for clothing.
Impressive page yields
Among ink and toner cartridges, thermal inkjet cartridges for many printers come in both standard page-yield models and high-capacity page-yield models. HP 950 black and 951 CYM original cartridges already offer impressive page yields themselves, rivaling what many other manufacturers offer as high-capacity cartridges.
